Rhonda was a devoted and loving daughter, mother and friend.  She had an outgoing personality, always greeting you with a smile. Rhonda graduated from Northwood High School in Pittsboro, NC. During her high school days she loved sports, especially softball, she played in the Band and she was an awesome cheerleader.  After High School, she continued her education at North Carolina A&T State University where she earned a Bachelor in Social Work.  Social Work was truly her life’s purpose – she embraced helping others without complaining but most of all with a caring and humble spirit touching the lives of citizens from children to the elderly.  Through her career she left her handprints at Cumberland County and Chatham County Department of Social Services, Chatham County Health Department, the University of North Carolina, Knotts Funeral Home, Piedmont Health Services and lastly Community Home Health Agency.  Rhonda’s smile was captivating and touched the hearts of those she encountered. She loved working with the youth at Heavens Manna. Rhonda was an Eastern Star; and a dedicated supporter of  Horton High School’s Alumni,  Horton High’s Band and Northwood’ Band.  She was the Parent that was always at every school event to show her support and rally for Northwood!
