I cannot recommend Knott’s enough!!! They treated my baby’s remains with respect. When UNC Hospital didn’t send my contact info, Lisa worked tirelessly to get up with me on her own! And that I forever am grateful for! This happened right during the holiday season. They were able to have my baby cremated for free (which we couldn’t afford so we are also thankful for that!) They offered to meet me but realizing I lived 5 hours away, we decided mailing was the best option. They didn’t want the cremains to get lost in the mail, and neither did I, so they waited til after the holiday mail rush and sent me the package with my baby’s cremated remains in it overnight shipping for FREE! They covered the cost which again was appreciated during such a difficult time in our lives. It arrived in the mail the very next day! Loss is never easy and they made this process as smooth as possible and kept me updated all along the way. They went above and beyond for me and my husband and our family and I’ll never forget that! I highly recommend them to anyone wanting a bit of closure when it comes to their loved ones! Thanks so much to Knott’s Funeral Home! I don’t know what we would’ve done without you!!!! Ms. Lula and staff were truly exceptional in helping us make the final arrangements for my brother (Samuel Burch, Jr.). They were very professional and understanding while my family went through the very difficult process of ensuring that my brother was laid to rest in the best way possible. I want to give special recognition to Lisa, who made herself available anytime me or my mother had questions about the process and status of different items on our to-do list. While they were really, really busy with tending with the needs of other families who had also lost loved ones, they always made us feel like a priority. Thank you for all you do.
