I have known Demetrius for many years and will always remember him for his brillant smile and winning personality. I saw him recently and we shared memories of baseball, basketball, and middle school...we laughed and we cried a bit as we remembered my son, David Councilman, who died in 2003. I am glad I had this time with De and a part of me smiles when I think that he and David are in Heaven together. My heart and my prayers are with his family. Please know that De will never be forgotten and those who mourn him will be lifted up in prayer.

The promise of the resurrection of our loved ones is an expression of God's love. By means of it, His original purpose for mankind will be realized right here on earth. Hello cousin Maddie. This is Arthur Lees daughter (Doowickie). I am so sorry for your loss. I remember Meech from Aunt Kaes house, when I ued to come over with Grandma Granny. It is a shame how family looses conact over the years.I have heard good things about Demetrius in refrence to his adult years and helping the disbled and children. God bless you all during this time.

I am sorry to read about the passing of your loved one. The loss of a loved one grieves the heart and makes us yearn for tomorrow, when God keeps the promise he made at Rev 21:3-4 when death, mourning, outcry, pain and sorrow will be eliminated.
