While words fail to capture the pain of losing a loved young man, we look forward to the time when words will fail to capture the joy of having our heavenly Father return your dear one to you."Jesus Christ said, "I am the resurrection and the life. The one that exercises faith in me, even though he dies will come to life." (John 11:25) This is an ASSURED PROMISE by our Lord, Jesus Christ. We all await eagerly for this promise to be fulfilled and all of our deceased loved ones will come back to life with the precious privilege of living forever. (John 3:16; 17:3) I hope that the aforementioned scriptures comfort you at this most difficult time.

It is with saddened hearts for our earthly loss of Jaylen O’Keefe Parker, but joyful for heaven's gain. Jaylen has finished his race for God and entered into His presence, because 2 Corinthians 5:8 declares, We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord (KJV). We are praying for comfort and peace in the days, weeks, months and years ahead for the Parker Family.
Because of His Grace,
Doctor Charlie M. Williams, Pastor, 1st Lady Vivian Peterson Williams, the Williams’ Family and the Hickory Grove Missionary Baptist Church Family of Chapel Hill, NC.

I am so very sorry for your loss. Please find comfort in God's sure promise of a resurrection as set forth in the Bible. (Acts 24:15; John 5:28,29) Those who are raised to life will have the prospect of never again being subject to misery, sickness, or death. (Revelation 21:4) I hope that reflecting on these thoughts will give you some relief during this difficult time.

2 Corinthians 1:3,4 gives us the assurance that "the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of tender mercies" is "the God of all comfort" and he "comforts us in all our trials". James 5:11b God "is very tender in affection and merciful". Please accept my sincere condolences. Always remember God loves you and he cares for you! (Psalm 86:15; Romans 15:4) jw.org
