Patrick Levon Clemons

Patrick L. Clemons, 71, of 104-A Burgess Circle, Broadway, NC passed on Friday, July 21, 2017 at his residence.

Mr. Patrick Lavon Clemons “PC” was born on August 25, 1945 to the late Burbie Clemons and Maggie Clemons. God called him home on July 21, 2017.

“PC” was raised in Olivia and attended Johnsonville High School.

He loved to sing in the choir. Shortly after high school he moved to Virginia. In the early part of his life he worked at the ship yard in Norfolk, Virginia soon after he came back to North Carolina there he joined the United States Army. Patrick joined New Beginnings For Christ and loved spending time with his family, friends and especially his ethereal mother.   

He leaves to cherish his memories: his four daughters, Jacqueline Thomason of the home, Lorie Clemons of Suffolk, Virginia, Lynn Cain of Fayetteville, North Carolina and Lisa McAuley of Fayetteville, North Carolina; two sons, Patrick Clemons Jr. of Suffolk, Virginia, and Otis Haynes of Sanford, North Carolina; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; he also leaves his mother, Maggie Clemons of Sanford, North Carolina, his five sisters, Bethea Williams (Will), of Woodbridge, Virginia, Carolyn Royal (James) of Colmbus, Georgia, Maggie McBryde (Russell), Deborah Clemons and Janice Harden all of Sanford, North Carolina; his nine brothers, Herbert Clemons and Carlos Clemons of Sanford, NC; James Clemons (Janice) and Martin Clemons of Olivia, NC; Anthony Clemons of Greensboro, NC; Pierre Clemons of Boston, Massachusetts, Oliver Clemons (Margaret) of Lemon Springs, NC,  Eric Clemons and Dennis Clemons both of Olivia. He also leaves a special friend, Bennie West and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends at the home of Ms. Maggie Clemons, 805 Harkey Rd., Apt 7B, Sanford, NC.
