I am so sorry to hear about your loss. It is very difficult on the remaining family members when we lose someone we dearly love. A scripture that comforts me is found at 2 Corinthians 1: 3-4.

There it says "Praised be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of tender mercies and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our trials so that we may be able to comfort others in any sort of trial with the comfort that we receive from God."

During this difficult time, I hope the family can find the needed comfort from the promises found in God's word. (Revelation 21:3,4)
