"Miss Billie" worked for our family for many, many years! Every Wednesday you could find her coming up our street often with "a little something in her pocketbook"! (For my boys or our dog!) We all loved her dearly. She knew our entire family!

God strengthens us by giving us the "power beyond what is normal" to make it through each passing day. Psalm 46:1 says: "God is our refuge and strength, a help that is readily found in times of distress". Please accept my sincere condolences. Always remember God loves you and he cares for you! Sorry to hear about the passing of your loved one. May the comforting promises from God ease your pain during this difficult time. One of which is found at Isaiah 25:8. There it says "He will swallow up death forever, and the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will wipe away the tears from all faces.”

Again, please accept my sincere condolences for your loss.

Message from Anne Eury & "Legion"
August 17, 2017 4:23 PM

I visited "Aunt Bill" for many months through Hospice of Cabarrus County. I took my dogs (Banks, a standard poodle and Legion, a yellow lab) to see her every Monday. I enjoyed our visits sooooo much! I often took her coconut cake or some nuts or fruit and we shared stories and prayers. She was such a special person to me and my Monday visits at Universal won't be the same from now on! My poodle, Banks, passed away while I knew Aunt Bill, but my lab, Legion, continued to enjoy his visits with her even until the day before she passed. He would rest his big head on her bedside and she would stroke her fingers through his ears. He just sad with her last Monday and she rested. She smiled so big when we walked in each week and she requested pictures of them for her bulletin board so she could see them between visits. I only knew Aunt Bill for a short while compared to the lifetime she shared with her family (which she ALWAYS talked about) but my life will be forever changed because I knew her! Please know I'll keep you in my thoughts and prayers and will always love Aunt Bill!

Fondly,

Anne Eury
