Wrally McNeill, Jr. Obituary

Wrally McNeill, Jr. age 37 of 59 Gibbs Rd., Lillington, NC transitioned into eternal rest on Saturday, October 16, 2021 at Central Carolina Hospital.

Mr. Wrally McNeill Jr., son of the late Wrally McNeill Sr. and  Mary Buie Scriven was born on December 21, 1983, in Chapel Hill, NC. Wrally was also reared by his bonus father, Lonell Scriven "Pops".

Wrally was raised in First Church of Christ Disciples of Christ, Broadway, NC where he played the drums and sang in the choir.  He would often fellowship with Swann Chapel Free Will Baptist Church and Deliverance Church of Christ.

Wrally was educated by the Harnett County School System. He graduated from Central Carolina Community College in 2004, with his GED.

Chubby, as he was affectionally known by everyone, loved to play cards. Chubby was best at bluffing during a Poker 52 game.   He was the life of the party. He was our breath of fresh air whenever we had a bad day. Even though he may have been disabled, he could do anything that we all could do. Driving was his specialty. You would always wonder how he was driving whenever you saw him pulling up. If asked, he would show you how it was done. Two canes were all he needed, but he worked magic with those canes. His beautiful smile and laughter would brighten up a room. Chubby had many pastimes, such as playing his bass guitar, hanging out with family and friends, and being a doting father to Amelia. Amelia was his reason for everything. He would move mountains to make certain that his little princess was happy. There was never a day that went by that you didn't hear a story about his daughter and mother. He also loved his mother.

Even though Chubby is no longer here with us in the flesh, his legacy will continue to live on through his only daughter, Amelia Nichelle McNeill; one brother, Christopher Lee McNeill of Sanford, NC; one sister, Tiffany R. Scriven of Lillington, NC; two nieces, Trinity McNeill, Kamaya Craven; seven aunts, three uncles, a special friend, NaShaunda Leak; god sister, Renee Burns; a lifelong friend, Joshua Matthews and a host of other relatives and friends.
