Ms. Wilma Louise Judd, age 43 of Sanford, NC transitioned into eternal rest on Saturday, March 4, 2023.
Wilma Judd was born on May16,1979, in Lee County, North Carolina to Ronald Thomas and Diane Wooten. She gained her wings on March 4, 2023. Wilma graduated from Fuquay-Varina High School. She obtained her certificate in Early Childhood Administration from Fayetteville Technical Community College. In her lifetime, she served as an early childhood educator. She educated children at Estelle’s Child Care. She loved Mrs. Estelle and Mr. Paul dearly. She genuinely loved and adored her colleagues and students. Working with children was her love and passion.
Wilma was a loving and devoted mother. She loved her son Nicholas Palmer, Jr. unconditionally. When she walked into any room, the room would instantly light up. Wilma was loved by many. She kept everyone laughing and always had a smile on her face. She was humble, loyal, and dedicated to her family and friends. She was her sister’s keeper.
She is preceded in death by her grandfather who raised her, Joseph Judd; grandparents James and Wilma Thomas; one aunt, Annette Judd and cousin, Timothy Goldston.
She leaves to cherish her loving memories: Her loving son, Nicholas Palmer Jr., of Sanford, NC; mother, Diane Wooten (Louis) of Fuquay-Varina, NC; her father, Ronald Thomas, of Broadway, NC; a grandmother who raised her, Lois Judd of Sanford, NC; one uncle, Brutus Judd (Patrilla) of Raven Rock, NC; aunts, Pastor Shirley Bryant (Allie) of Lillington, NC, Angela Judd of Spring Lake, NC, Linda Murchison of Lillington, NC, and Iris Fewell of Greensboro, NC, stepbrother, Kino Wooten of Sanford, NC; stepsisters, Talia Thomas and Jennell Matthews of Lillington, NC, cousins, Nicholas Cole (Carmen), Rinalda Johnson, Dr. Jasmine Nixon, Whitney Harrison (Miguel), Michael Silochan (Vanessa), Natasha Silochan, Latoya Silochan, and Kaniyah Wooten; special cousins, Lakarsha Mitchell and Martinique Nixon; and a host of other relatives, extended family, and friends.
