Wayne Lee Foushee

Mr. Wayne L. Foushee,  age 68 of 1602 East Franklin Street, Chapel Hill, NC entered into eternal rest on Thursday, October 24, 2019 at Signature Healthcare of Chapel Hill, NC.

Wayne was born February 3, 1951 to the late Mr. Clyde Foushee and Mrs. Mattie Edwards Foushee.

He received his education from Chapel Hill High School, shortly after schools were desegregated. Following graduation he became employed at the University of North Carolina printing department, a dedicated employee for over fourty years until his retirement and declining health.

He was a quiet man of very few words, a kind man with a charming smile and calm unique style.  He enjoyed reading, listening to soft music and spending time in the yard. 

Children he never had any but loved all that cross his path of life. His nieces and nephews was his joy.  They could Always expect Christmas gifts from  Uncle Wayne. 

His feet are no longer in the sand.  His footprints are inbedded in the sand of time to cherish his memories by one sister Eva F. Pettiford of Greensboro, NC; two brothers, John R. Foushee (Pearl) of Durham, NC  and Gerald Foushee (Evelyn) of Durham, NC; three uncles, Mr. Garland Foushee, Mr. Johnnie Johnson of Chapel Hill, NC and Mr. Robert Weaver and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
