Vernon Ezzell Mosier, Sr.

Mr. Vernon Ezzell Mosier, Sr., age 70, of Cameron, NC entered eternal rest on Monday, January 8, 2024.

Our beloved husband, father, and friend was a man who held all virtues: bravery, loyalty, patriotism, generosity, humility.

He cultivated friendships and gave endlessly. He retired as a Sgt First Class after serving twenty years in the Army earning several medals. He was a beloved father, grandfather, and great grandfather…and the grandkids always knew he would come through for them. He closed his eyes in his home, in his perfect place of comfort, watching a mystery with his dear Phyllis by his side.

Predeceased by parents, Benjamin and Geneva Mosier; siblings, Frank, Henry, and Elvin, and a sister in law, Yvonne.

Vernon is survived by his beloved wife, Phyllis of Cameron, NC; sons, Vernon Jr., Darrel, and Derrick (Magela); granddaughters, Yasmin, Sara, and Annabel; great granddaughter, Amara; nephews, Frank and Gary; nieces, Donna and Lisa; sisters in law, Dolly, Connie, and Betty.
