Ms. Vercell O'ddessa Carver, age 63 of High Point, NC transitioned into eternal rest on Sunday, November 21, 2021, at the Hospice of Davidson County in Lexington, NC.
Vercell O'ddesa Carver was born in N.C. Memorial Hospital in Chapel Hill, NC to Alice Craig Carver and Isaiah Cobb Carver on October 27, 1958. She went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, November 21, 2021.
Vercell was educated in the Chapel Hill Carrboro School system. She was employed and loved what she did until her health declined. She was very family-oriented and involved with all her grandchildren and nieces and nephews whom she loved very much.
Vercell was preceded in death by her parents Alice and Isaiah Carver, three brothers Micheal, Alton, & Stanley, and one sister Barbara Ann.
Vercell leaves to mourn two daughters Yakelle Carver of Rochester New York and Leaticia Carver of the home; one sister Cassandra Carver of Chapel Hill, N.C., and one brother Isaiah Carver of Burlington N.C. Two granddaughter Ahlaresha Carver of Rochester New York, and Kearie Edwards of the home, two grandsons Nasir Baldwin of Chapel Hill, N.C. and Rashad Steele of the home. Two great-grandsons King Smith and Royal Jackson of Rochester New York. Four nieces Sasha Carver of Chapel Hill N.C., Lashanda Carver-Moore(Will) of Fayetteville N.C., Angela and Vikki Bynum of Chapel Hill N.C., and one nephew Efrem Brittian II(Eazy) of Chapel Hill N.C. and eight great-nieces and five great-nephews. Vercell also leaves behind a special friend Undra Thompson(Burlington N.C.). Two aunts Martha Terell(Carnell) and Louise Bennett both of Chapel Hill, N.C., and one uncle Robert Craig of Chapel Hill, N.C., along with other cousins and relatives.
