Trevell DayQune Stanford

Mr. Trevell DayQune, age 17 of Sanford NC, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, August 29, 2021, at his residence in Sanford, NC.

Trevell DyQune Stanford was born on September 4, 2003, at 8:36 am at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital Pinehurst, North Carolina to Brian Durante and Kimberly Stanford. He received his wings on Sunday, August 29th at his home, where he departed this life.

He attended Moore and Lee County public schools, and later attended Central Carolina Community College, Sanford, North Carolina where he received his high school diploma. He furthered his education and received a certificate in contracting and received his culinary arts degree. He had a love for cooking and serving very delicious meals!  He especially enjoyed preparing meals for his family during Thanksgiving and Christmas, as well as at other times. He cooked his first meal of Salisbury steak, onions, green beans, and corn at the age of eight, and it was enjoyed by all who partook of it.  He was very friendly, warm, kind and as gentle as a teddy bear! He loved his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Hattie Durante and his great uncles, Richard Arthur and Charles Arthur.

He leaves to cherish his eternal memories:  his mother, Kimberly Stanford, of the home; his father,  Brian Durante (Ebony), Aberdeen, North Carolina, and his stepfather who helped  raise him, Lloyd Vincent McKeithen, Jacksonville,  North Carolina; three brothers, Emarion, Emony, and Ebriel, Aberdeen,  North Carolina; three sisters, Shaniah Stanford, Chicorria McKeithen, and Azorriah McKeithen of the home; one very special nephew, Tarvarious Smith, who looks just like him, of the home; his maternal grandparents, Harold Stanford (Loretta) Robbins, North Carolina and  Karen Monroe Pinehurst, North Carolina; one uncle, Lamont Monroe,  Aberdeen, North Carolina; five aunts, Traci Durante, Pinebluff, North Carolina, and  Shaunda and Marilyn Durante, Aberdeen, North Carolina; Lynette Stanford, Sanford, North Carolina, and Tracy Stanford, Cameron, North Carolina; great uncles, Tracy Monroe (Linda), Pinehurst, North Carolina, Sylvester Stanford, (Helen) Aberdeen, North Carolina, Clinton Stanford, Richmond, Virginia, Ronnie Durante (Linda), North Carolina and Silvester Durant (Alison) North Carolina; great aunts, Sarah Delores Monroe, Pinehurst, North Carolina., Rose Harris, Southern Pines, North Carolina, Allison Durante, Aberdeen, North Carolina, Laura DeLeon (Mike), Little Ferry, New Jersey, Sue Saylor, South Carolina, Mary Toney, South Carolina, Helen Jenkins, South Carolina, Barbara McDuffie, New York, Carrie Wesley, New Jersey, Brenda Arthur and Linda Arthur both of Baltimore; his best friend, Rahki Newby and many very special cousins who were like sisters and brothers, and a host of other very special loved ones and friends.
