Mr. Travis Jackson Brower, age 67 of Cameron, NC entered into eternal rest on Friday, October 27, 2023.
Travis Jackson Brower was born to the late Mary Elizabeth Brower and Jackson Elwood Brower on August 1, 1956, in Sanford, North Carolina.
He departed this life on October 27, 2023, in Cameron, North Carolina.
He received his education from the Philadelphia Public School System. At the age of 17, he joined the United States Army where he received several degrees. During his tenure in the army, Travis proudly assisted his country, serving in a variety of roles. Following his time in the army, Travis worked for Comcast Cable in Philadelphia, PA as a technician until he formally retired from all labor.
As a youngster, Travis accepted Jesus Christ as his personal savior. He was the type of believer who looked at people's hearts and the fruit they bore.
Travis will be remembered as a neat and stylish dresser, a great provider to his family, a critical thinker, and a no-nonsense type of man when it came to those he loved. Travis enjoyed
researching topics both big and small, listening to smooth Jazz, going to casinos, and socializing in intimate settings with like-minded people.
He was preceded in death by one brother, James Madison Brower (Matt).
Travis leaves to cherish his memories his daughter, Zan Jackson Brower; sisters, Donna M. Brower and Sandra D. Brower (Niecy); brothers, Ranfiki Brower (Fiki), Maurice Brower (Tony),
Tommy Brower; one sister-in-law, Somjit Brower; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
His memory will forever live in the hearts of those who loved him.
