Tony Lamar Bristow, Jr., affectionately known as "Tee," began his journey on June 19, 1976, with his loving parents, Tony Bristow, Sr. and Sandra Winston. He departed on Sunday, October 27, 2024, as he journeyed to his eternal resting place in Heaven.
Raised in Sanford, North Carolina, Tee graduated from Lee County Senior High School in 1994. He was also a proud member of Star of Hope OFWB Church. He had a vibrant spirit and cherished the moments spent with his family and friends. Tee found joy in playing Call of Duty and passionately supported his beloved New York Giants and Duke Blue Devils sports teams. His crazy stories and infectious laughter touched the lives of those around him, leaving a memorable mark in the hearts of many.
Tee is now reunited with his beloved maternal grandfather, Frank Kelly Sr., paternal grandmother Dorothy Wilson, and cherished family members, including his Aunt Christian Kelly and Uncle Frank Kelly Jr.
He leaves behind a loving family who will forever cherish his memory: his parents, Tony Bristow, Sr and Sandra Winston (Freddie); one son, Jaylen Tysor; one sister, Andrea "Angel" McLean (Johnny) of Sanford, NC; four brothers, DeEric Kelly of Charlotte, NC, Chet Davis (Rie) of Okinawa, Japan, Robert "Fi-Rob" Shaw of Aurora, CO and Micah Lee of Hampton, VA; one grandmother, Betty Lee; grandfathers, General "Rabbit" Bristow and James "Milt" Wilson; three God sisters—Shonda Kelly, Rosalind Bell, and Keisha Johnson; and a wonderful group of eight nephews, ten nieces, three great-nieces, and three great-nephews—also held his cousins Danielle Hosby and John Reaves, who was like siblings to him, very close to his heart, along with a host of other relatives and friends who loved him deeply.
Tee's warmth, laughter, and spirit will be profoundly missed by all who knew him. May his memory be a source of comfort and love for those he leaves behind.
