Timothy Louis McNeill Sr.

Mr. Timothy Louis McNeill Sr., age 64 of Sanford, NC, transitioned into eternal rest on Friday, May 28, 2021 in UNC-Chapel Hill Hospital.

Mr. Timothy Louis McNeill Sr, son of the late John Crawford McNeill and Annie Mae McNeill was born February 14, 1957 in Lee County, NC, and departed this life on May 28, 2021 at UNC Hospital. 

Tim attended Sanford Central High School and graduated in 1975. After graduation, he joined the Army. Tim graduated from CCCC in 2002 with a degree in Information Systems Technology. He was employed at General Service.

He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters; Betty Mae McLeod, Elizabeth Robinson, and Shirley Temple. Two brothers; Larry McNeill and John McNeill. One grandson, Jahmir Foxx.

He leaves to cherish his memories his daughter, Whittney Shavon Foxx (Brian), son Timothy Louis McNeill Jr. (Danielle). Five grandchildren: Taleah Foxx, Zion Clark, Bria Chester, Jackson McNeill, and Arianna McNeill. Four sisters: Daisy Bush of Winston-Salem, NC, Callie Snipes (Robert), Jackelyn Gilmore, and Gwendolyn Grier all of Sanford, NC. One aunt, Nettie Scotten, a special friend, Leteakea Pitt, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
