Thomas Postell Griffin, age 65 of 195 Bargin Lane, Sanford, NC passed on Friday, May 4, 2018 at his residence.

Thomas Postell Griffin was born on September 19, 1952 to the late Louise Kersey and Postell Dock Griffin in Sanford, North Carolina.

“P” as he was affectionately called, loved to fish when he was younger. He was a Carolina Tar heel fan. He was very smart and liked working on and fixing cars. He worked at Central Carolina Supply and Honeywell.

He is survived by his children, Alonna Griffin, Terressa Griffin and Katrina Griffin all of Sanford, NC; grandchildren, Quinton, Christopher, De’naisha, Griffin, McKenzye, Tremar and Kyleigh; his siblings: Rosetta Reid, Shirley Griffin, Faye Gill (Sammy) and Falisha Petty (Sylvester) all of Sanford, NC; two aunts, Annie Jane Griffin of Sanford, NC and Joanne Kersey of Durham, NC and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
