Mr. Thelbert Lee McDougald, age 65 of 800 Juniper Street, Sanford, NC transitioned into eternal rest on Thursday, July 21, 2022 at The Greens at Hendersonville in Hendersonville, NC.
Mr. Thelbert was born to late Lincoln and Betty McDougald on July 16, 1957 in Lee County, NC where he also attended school.
Thelbert loved his family and was a beloved member of his community and neighborhood. He was a devoted son, brother, uncle, and friend.
Thelbert is preceded in death by his father and mother, Lincoln and Betty McDougald, two brothers, Paul Small (Shirley), Lincoln McDougald Jr. (Beverly), a sister Emma McNeill (George) of Sanford, NC.
Thelbert leaves to cherish his memory; Bernice Eugene Barrett (Luvonia) of Hendersonville, NC, William Jr. Barrett (Tina) of Cameron, NC, Carolyn McLeod (Donald) of Fayetteville, NC, a special friend of many years Maebell Adme of Mount Olive, NC, and a host of family and friends.
The family will receive friends at 800 Juniper Street, Sanford, NC
