Terry Griffin

Mr. Terry Griffin, 58 of 11746 US Hwy 421 N, Broadway, NC transitioned into eternal rest on Tuesday, March 23, 2021.  He was born on January 19, 1963 to the Late Hubert and Annie Griffin and the Late John McKoy. 

Terry received his education in the Lee County Public School system.  Terry was also known by his nickname “Ted”.  He was a kind and loving person with a beautiful smile.  Ted loved his music and to dance.  He was the “Grill Master” who loved to fish.  “TED” loved to work and to dress.  He was the life of the party.

He is preceded in death by his fathers, Mr. Hubert Griffin and Mr. John McKoy; two sons, Jerome and YuShawn; several sisters and brothers.

He leaves to cherish his memories: his wife and best friend of 35 years, Mrs. Joan J. Griffin; children, Bobby (Tamiko), Terry Jr. (Jazz), Kenneth (Kanesha), Gregory (Stephanie), and Kenyetta Johnson; his mother, Mrs. Annie Griffin; three sisters, Annabelle Johnson (Thurman), Carolyn Griffin, Brenda Griffin; three brothers, David Griffin, Melvin Griffin, and Raymond McKoy (Ruth); ten grandchildren, two that he raised, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
