Tauanda Lavette Redwine, age 48 of 2603 Applegate Way, Sanford, NC transitioned into eternal rest Tuesday, June 30, 2020 at UNC Hospital, Chapel Hill, NC.

Tauanda M. Redwine, daughter of Brenda Pearson and the late Arthur Massey, was born Feb 16, 1972 Sanford NC. She transitioned into eternal rest on Tuesday, June 30, 2020.

Tauanda was a kind, loving person who was loved, by all. Tauanda attended Lee County High School and received her high school diploma. Tauanda worked at Hampton Inn in Sanford, NC before her illness. She graduated from Central Carolina Community College.

Tauanda was known for baking the best Honey Bun Cakes, Delicious Banana Pudding, and Potato Salad. all that would melt in your mouth. She would put the needs of others before herself.

Tauanda was always the life of the party a person with a heart of Gold and a Lending hand, even when she had nothing left for herself.

She preceded in death by her father, Arthur Massey; grandparents, Frank and Flossie Richardson.

She leaves behind to cherish her memories, her son, Kentrell Cox of the home; her mother, Brenda Pearson and special much loved step Dad, Lee Pearson; three sisters: Keena Massey, Lashanda Massey, and Donna McNair all from Sanford, NC; three nieces: C’ara Massey, Andrea Richardson, and Shakia Richardson; one grandson, Maurice Cox; one granddaughter, Faith Cox; three nephews: Ronderick Tucker, Sharief Smith and Jacquann Burroughs; special friends, Crystal Womack, Tonya Stukes, and Schricka Johnson and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
