Ms. Tanya D. Cummins, age 51 of Sanford, NC transitioned into eternal rest on Saturday, July 23, 2022 at her residence, Skill Creations of Sanford in Sanford, NC.

Tanya was a resident of Skill Creations of Sanford from 2018 until her passing on July 23, 2022 at her home. While residing at Skill Creations, she enjoyed a variety of programs and activities with her housemates and staff. Tanya had an irresistible smile and joyful personality. She enjoyed listening to music, singing, dancing, arts and crafts, as well as playing board and card games and coloring. Tanya would change the mood in the room when she started to sing and dance. She also enjoyed the outdoors and would sit for hours just enjoying nature. Tanya often talked about going shopping and the things she would buy and she never left out buying a new pair boots.

Tanya rarely failed to tell everyone “goodbye and see you in the morning” or “have a good weekend”. She will be missed by all.
