Stephanie Bridget (Eaves) Cheek

Mrs. Stephanie Cheek, age 58 of Pittsboro, NC transitioned into eternal rest on Saturday, January 28, 2023 at her residence.

The Obituary 

Stephanie Bridget Eaves Cheek was born July 22, 1964, to the late Herbert Eaves Jr. and Barbara Ratliff Eaves. Stephanie attended Chatham County Schools and graduated from Northwood High School in 1982.

After graduation, she was employed at Collins Aikman Corporation for approximately 28 years. She then continued her career at Frontier in Sanford, NC for a short while. Her strong work ethic ended at Pentair in Sanford, NC as a supervisor for several years.

Stephanie married the love of her life Kenneth Cheek on May 10, 1997. He was a devoted and loving husband who cared for her dearly. They enjoyed spending time together. Stephanie attended Alston Chapel Church at an early age and was a faithful member until her health declined. She enjoyed singing with the Joyettes, Adult Youth Choir, and Omega Choir. She enjoyed spending time with her family and vacationing.

She was preceded in death by her father, Herbert Eaves, Jr.; sister, Terrina Renee Craig and nephew, John "JR" Price. 

She leaves to cherish her memories her devoted husband, Kenneth; one daughter, Carrie Eaves of Pittsboro; one stepson, Rasheed Roc Cheek of Greensboro; her mother, Barbara Eaves; four brothers, Herbert S. Eaves, Kenneth Darryl Eaves, Efrem (Teresa) Eaves, and Christopher (Renee) Eaves, all of Pittsboro; one sister, Venna (Terry) Price of Siler City; four grandchildren, Malachi, Iverson, Paris, and Haayana. A special friend and sister, Jacqueline West of Sanford; a host of nieces, and nephews that she loved dearly, other relatives and friends.
