Obituary
Mrs. Shelia Denise Anderson, 66, of Sanford, North Carolina, peacefully departed this life on Thursday, May 28, 2026. Born on July 6, 1959, she was the beloved daughter of the late Edward Lee Jones and Lillie Ruth Siler.
Shelia was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend whose life was centered around faith, family, and service. She earned her GED and was employed for many years at Coty Inc. in Sanford, North Carolina, where she was known for her strong work ethic and dedication.
A faithful woman of God, Shelia found great joy in attending church, sewing, and spending precious time with her family. Her warm spirit, caring heart, and unwavering love for those around her left a lasting impression on everyone who knew her.
Shelia shared forty-four loving years of marriage with her devoted husband, Warren Anderson, Sr. Together they built a beautiful family and a legacy of love that will continue for generations.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward Lee Jones and Lillie Ruth Siler; grandparents, Luticia Tabon and David Alexander Tabon; and siblings, Annette Jones and Reggie Jones.
She leaves to cherish her precious memories her loving husband, Warren Anderson, Sr.; her children, Shanora Johnson, Chrissy Johnson Smith, Lamonte Smith, Warren Anderson, Janisa Anderson, Alisha Crawford, and Donnell Crawford; thirteen grandchildren, LaQuina MacGlaughlin, Anelia Smith, Quintoria Allen, Stephanie Johnson, Emmanuel Smith, Amaria Smith, Gershaun McNeill, Jerome Johnson, Aiden Anderson, Christian Smith, Nyla Crawford, Leina Anderson, and Serenity Crawford; three great-grandchildren, DaNya Allen, Nazier Malloy, and Laylani; her siblings, Randy Jones, Dwight Jones, Tony Siler, Sharon Siler, and Eric Siler; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, and dear friends who will forever treasure her memory.
Though our hearts are heavy with sorrow, we find comfort in knowing that Shelia's legacy of faith, love, kindness, and devotion to family will live on in all who were blessed to know her.
