Sha-Myia Nhigel Shonte Jennings, age 23 of 175 Country Place, Sanford, NC passed on Saturday, October 6, 2018.

Shamyia Nhigel Shant'e Jennings was born to Shanique Moses and Robert Nash Jr. in Chapel Hill, NC on November 21, 1994.  She gained her wings on October 6, 2018.

Shamyia graduated from Overhills High School in 2013 and attained an Associate’s Degree from Ultimate Medical Academy in 2018.

Shamyia was a breath of fresh air.  She was an encourager and a role model that never encountered a stranger.  Her time on this earth was brief, but she left an imprint on lives that will never be forgotten.

Shamyia leaves to mourn her mother,  Shanique Moses (Edward); her father,  Robert Nash Jr. of  Charlotte, NC; her honorary father, Darryl Jackson of Sanford, North Carolina; grandparents, Edward Sanders (Burnett) of Sanford, North Carolina;  Robert Nash, Sr. (Queenie) and  Teresa Nash all of Charlotte, North Carolina; brothers, Javonte' Jackson, Tylon  Brown, Jeffery Jennings (Heather), and Raymond Brown all of Sanford, North Carolina;  sisters, Keajah Patton and Kiara Nash both of Charlotte, North Carolina, Jocelyn Moses and  Angel Moses, both of Sanford, North Carolina, Talitha Covington and Naomi Covington, all from Fayetteville, North Carolina; aunts, Brenda Johnson (Eric), Delores Haith, Shonte Jetter and Rebecca Spears, Umeka Covington (godmother); special friends:  Marcus Coachman, Brianna Ross, Laquiesha Barkley, Thomasina Smith-Ross, Ziniqua Saunders, Vamikka Smith.She also leaves a host of other relatives and friends that will truly miss her.
