Samuel Isaac Williams

Mr. Samuel Isaac Williams, age 89, of Sanford, NC entered eternal rest on Monday, April 21, 2025, at Central Carolina Hospital in Sanford, NC.

The Obituary

Mr. Samuel Isaac Williams was the son of the late Archie Williams, Sr. and Addie Green, born on July 11, 1935. Samuel was the second youngest of the family. 

Samuel Williams had several brothers and sisters that predeceased him in death, Mr. Archie Williams, Jr., Mr. James E. Williams, Mr. Frank Williams, Mr. David Williams, Mr. Irving Williams, Mary W. Best, Mrs. Addie McLee, Mrs. Lula Murchison, Mrs. Nina Bryce, Mrs. Rebecca Williams, and Mrs. Flora Williams.

Samuel Williams was educated in the Lee County Public School System where he graduated.   He also attended Shaw University Pre-Law Program in Raleigh, North Carolina.  On March 9, 1968, he married Beethel Williams in Far Rockaway, Queens, New York.  On February 19, 1974, Samuel and Beethel welcomed their daughter Stephanie Lynn.  Samuel Williams lived and worked in New York as a social worker and security officer for Nassau Community College for many years.  Mr. Williams moved back to Sanford, North Carolina due to his declining health until the Lord called him home on April 21, 2025.  

He leaves to cherish his memory a daughter, Stephanie Lynn Williams and a son in-law, Clarence Ray Neely, Jr. and a host of nieces and nephews.

He will be greatly missed by his daughter, son in-law, nieces, nephews, and all who knew and loved him.

The family would like to thank Henry Frank Mclean and the entire homecare team for their devoted service and care to Samuel.
