Sammy Lee Chatman

Mr. Sammy Chatman, age 64 transitioned into eternal rest Monday, February 22, 2021 at Central Carolina Hospital, Sanford, NC.

Mr. Sammy Lee Chatman was born on March 4, 1956 to the Late Catherine and Louis Chatman Sr.  He transitioned into eternal rest on Monday, February 22, 2021.

Family was important to him.  He was always willing to lend a helping hand, not just to family but to the McKoy Town Road and Johnsonville Community.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Paula Denise Chatman; a son, Samuel Lee Chatman Jr.; his parents, Catherine and Louis Chatman Sr.; two sisters, Johnnie Mae Spell and Margie Roberson; and a brother, John B. Chatman.

Sammy leaves to cherish his memories, his son Nathaniel Edmond Chatman (Charity); his grandson, Jovan Chatman; his granddaughter, Nevaeh Chatman; a sister, Betty Sue Barnes; brother, Louis Chatman Jr.; one aunt, Mary Shaw (Aunt Monkey) and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
