Rovina (Chance) James

Mrs. Rovina James, age 96 of Sanford, North Carolina transitioned into eternal rest on Wednesday, March 31, 2021, at Sanford Health and Rehab.

Death is not the end; however, the beginning of a new life, which our God has promised us. The new beginning for Mrs. Rovina C. James began early in the morning, March 31, 2021, in Sanford, North Carolina.

She was born, February 25, 1925, in Harnett County, North Carolina to Tom and Katie Chance. Rovina attended Shawtown School in Harnett County.

Mrs. Rovina James was joined in holy matrimony to the late Prentice James Sr. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and friend. Her caring ways will forever be in the hearts of her family and friends.

Survivors include three sons; Charles M. James of Riverside California, Fred M. James of Ellerbe, North Carolina; Prentice James Jr. of Corcoran, California, Patricia Waddell of Dayton Ohio, Cindy M. Morrison of Sanford, North Carolina and a multitude of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.
