Ronald Leroy McBryde of Sanford, NC passed away unexpectedly on October 14, 2025. He was born in Chapel Hill, NC on July 10, 1984, to Catherine Blue and Ronald Wilkerson.

Ron enjoyed drawing, listening to music, grilling and fishing with his "Pops", and spending time with family. He was free-spirited and loved life. He was always the jokester of the bunch and brought light to any room.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Norman Mcbryde; uncles, Mark Mcbryde and Tommy Wilkerson.

Ron is survived by his mother, Catherine Blue (Lendell); father, Ronald Wilkerson (Lonnie); one brother, Eddy McBryde (Alyssa); one sister, Kendra Wilkerson; two nieces, Makayla McBryde and Delaney McBryde; three nephews, Kayden McBryde, Eric Mays, Jr., and Ayden Mays; grandmothers, Eddie Wade and Decey McDougald; two uncles, Benny Wilkerson and James Wilkerson (Barbara); one aunt, Linda Wilkerson; several other loved friends; and a host of other family, friends, and loved ones.
