Mr. Rennie Lee Pearson, age 56, formally of Sanford, NC, transitioned to eternal rest on Saturday, August 17, 2024, at St. Joseph's Hospital in Tampa, FL. 

The Obituary

Rennie Lee Pearson was born to Bobbie Pearson and the late Jacob Lindsey on April 2, 1968, in Jersey City, New Jersey. Rennie exchanged life on earth for one eternal rest and peace on August 17, 2024, at St. Joseph Hospital in Tampa Florida.

Rennie was a graduate of Lincoln High School, Jersey City, New Jersey. After graduating he moved to Florida and worked for many years at the Marriott Hotel.

Rennie decided to pursue his dream as a truck driver and went on to Truck Driver Training School. This passion led him to a fulfilling career for 25 years with ORT Transportation. He was an enthusiastic fan of the New York Jets. His favorite saying was cool, calm, collective and drama free. Everyone knows Rennie as Rennie, but mommy knows him as “Tin Tin”.

Rennie leaves to cherish his memories: his two sons, Malcolm Jones of Jersey City, New Jersey and Rennie Pearson Jr. (Genya-mother) of Tampa, Florida; his loving mother, Bobbie Pearson of Scranton, Pennsylvania; two sisters, Jannie Murchison (Ernest) of Sanford, NC and Amina Pearson (Tyrone) of Lakeview, Pennsylvania; four brothers, Nicky Pearson and Curtis Pearson, both of Scranton, Pennsylvania and Terry Pearson (Dennay) and Edward Casey Griffin (America), both of Jersey City, New Jersey; four grandchildren; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
