Randy Boykin Obituary

Mr. Randy Boykin, age 48, transitioned to eternal rest on Saturday, July 11, 2026, in Graham, NC.

The Obituary

Mr. Randy Boykin, age 48, of Burlington, North Carolina, departed this life on Saturday, July 11, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love, hard work, and unwavering devotion to his family.

Randy was born on April 14, 1978, in Sanford, North Carolina, to the late Elder Curtis Boykin and Doris J. Boykin. From an early age, he was known for his kind heart, infectious smile, and deep appreciation for family. One of his favorite childhood memories was playfully competing with his cousin, Carlos, for their grandmother's love and attention. That joyful spirit remained with him throughout his life and shaped the man he became.

Randy received his education at Lee County High School and later attended Central Carolina Community College Culinary School. Although he enjoyed cooking, his professional career led him into manufacturing, where his talent, dedication, and technical expertise earned him multiple certifications through Honda and Milacron. As an Equipment Service Technician with Honda North Carolina Manufacturing, Randy played a role in developing and maintaining robotic systems, taking great pride in his work and the accomplishments he achieved throughout his career.

On March 3, 2001, Randy married Crystal Tysor in the home where his story began. From that day forward, they shared a life filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories, raising a family that remained at the center of Randy's heart.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Randy found his greatest fulfillment in the simple joys of life surrounded by family, friends, and those he loved most. He enjoyed firing up the grill for gatherings, where his food and warm spirit brought everyone together. Randy also had a deep appreciation for pit bulls and took great pride in raising and caring for them with patience, compassion, and dedication.

Above all else, Randy treasured his family. He believed in staying connected with those he loved and never missed an opportunity to remind them how much they meant to him. Whether through a phone call, a visit, or a simple conversation, he often ended with the heartfelt words, "I love you." Those words became one of the many lasting gifts he leaves behind.

Randy leaves to cherish his precious memories of his devoted wife, Crystal Boykin; his children, Ran'Quam Jameik Boykin (Jada), Jaz'Mine Rachel Boykin, and Rhayden Jamyl Boykin; and his beloved granddaughter, Ralani Ivy Boykin.

In addition to his beloved wife and children, Randy's life and legacy will be cherished by his loving mother, Doris J. Boykin; his siblings, Tony Boykin (Myra), Rodney Boykin (Donna), and Erica Boykin; his nieces and nephews, Tiffany (Rob), Antoine (Kia), Forante, Debbie, Dawniell (Keonta), Kashaun and Jaylen;  his in-laws, Marvin, Shatara, Ebony (Collin), and Tanya (Altwan); as well as a host of cousins, extended family members, dear friends, and coworkers whose lives were enriched by knowing him.

Though his earthly journey has ended, Randy's love, strength, and generous spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know him. His legacy reminds us to love deeply, cherish family, and never leave loved ones without saying, "I love you."
