Patricia Williams

Patricia Alberta Cox Williams, age 69 of 110 14th St., Sanford, NC transitioned into eternal rest on Saturday, May 9, 2020 at her residence. 

Patricia Alberta Cox Williams, daughter of the late Albert Cox and Gladys B. Cox of Lee County Sanford, NC, departed this life Saturday, May 9, 2020.

On April 29, 1971, she was united in marriage to Frank Williams. Together they were the parents of seven children. Patricia had a great love for God and people. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

She worked at Koury Company for several years later transitioning to a stay-at-home mom while Frank worked. She attended Pine Ridge Missionary Baptist Church where she was a Deaconess, Sunday School Secretary, and Secretary of the Pine Ridge Gospel Choir, Secretary of the Deep River Women Missionary Auxiliary, Missionary Circle, and Usher Board until her health declined.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Williams; son, Tyson Williams and sister, Polly Cox.

She leaves to mourn their loss and heavens gain: two sons, Frank Williams III (Belinda), and David Williams both of Sanford, NC; four daughter, Gwendolyn Marks (Owen) of Sanford, NC, Rosanna Davis (Darryl) of Fayetteville, NC, Queen Williams, and Latoria Williams both of Sanford, NC; sisters-in-law, Rosetta Dykes of Sanford, Eula M. Robinson, Donna Harb both of Durham, NC, and Pattie Anne Milner of Detroit, Michigan; one brother-in-law, Norman Buie of Durham, NC;  thirteen grandchildren; two great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
