Dell Patricia Marks Malloy, daughter of the late Paul Edward Marks & Audrey Patterson, entered this world on July 1, 1959, in Sanford, North Carolina, and transitioned from this life to eternal life on April 29, 2022, in Riverdale, Georgia. She was reared by her late grandmother Ms. Minnie Marks Southland, who Patricia “affectionally” called Mama.
Patricia was educated at Sanford Central High School. She later furthered her education at Central Carolina Technical College studying Nursing, Cosmetology, and Phlebotomy. Patricia served in many positions in the medical field. Patricia faithfully served her community, family, and friends with love and compassion. Patricia would give you “HER Opinion”, whether you liked it or NOT with LOVE.
Patricia was a mother to many children, even the ones she did not birth. She cared for everyone else, even when she wasn’t well herself.
Patricia met the love of her life, Nathaniel Lee Malloy. No matter the storms and challenges they faced together and with the help of The Lord, they made it. Patricia and Nate were married for 36 blessed years. Their union was unbreakable.
Patricia was preceded in death by her brother, Gary Lee Marks, mother-in-law, Patricia Malloy, and a granddaughter, Khadijiah Chesney.
Patricia leaves to cherish her loving memories, her husband Nathaniel, five children Carlos (Tyiesha), Comeisha , Sir.Mr., and Natkilla , Nathaniel Jr.; six bonus children, Michael, Deana, Staci, Toni, EJ, and Travon all of Atlanta GA; seven brothers & sisters Brenda Mckoy (Warren), Owen (Gwendolyn), Amos Josh-way (Lora), Eula Brown all of Sanford, NC, Paula (Chris) Adams of Fitzgerald Ga, Terry (Karma) Lyons of Madison, Wisconsin, Jennifer Johnson of New Hope, Minnesota; fifteen loving grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; stepfather, Johnny Cain; uncle, Jesse Lee Patterson; father- in-law, Charles Malloy; one brother-in-law, two sisters- in -law; special friends, Joyce Davis, Tracy Woods, Gladys McDougald and a host of relatives & friends.
Extended family and friends are being received at the home of Ms. Natkilla Malloy located at 400 N Horner Blvd. Sanford, NC 27330. from 3pm-8:00pm daily. *All guests are required to wear a mask while at the residence*
