Gail was a gifted costume and clothing designer who worked across the U.S. in various Theater and Opera Companies. Once her children grew a bit older, she once again took up her passion. Oma began working for many production companies not only all over the Cape but throughout the country. When she wasn’t sewing her heart out she was working in all manner of occupations. She drove a school bus, sold jewelry and clothing, and was even a driving instructor.

Gail demonstrated her love for people by donating her time to help the homeless, making pillowcases for foster children, she worked at the Cape Cod Conservatory, on Cape Cod Council of Churches Board, Cape Cod Chorale Board. She also made costumes on the Cape for The Falmouth Theater Guild, the 4C’s Tilden Center of Performing Arts, and many many others.

Gail expressed her love for people by donating her time, money and creating beautiful useful items for the homeless, foster children and even those in other countries. She was a long-time subscriber of the Cape Cod Symphony Orchestra, as well as The New England Opera Company. She was passionate about travel, the cultural arts, and books of all kinds.
