Nellie Ann (Wilson) Trapp

Mrs. Nellie Ann Wilson Trapp of Moncure, NC passed on Friday, July 24, 2020 at Central Carolina Hospital, Sanford, NC

Nellie Anne(Ann) Trapp age 75 of Moncure, North Carolina departed this life and entered eternal rest on July 24, 2020 at Central Carolina Hospital. She was born on February 26, 1945 to the late Willie and Clara Wilson.

She joined Liberty Chapel Congregational Church at an early age and later joined Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church. She was a member of East Chatham Senior Citizen Organization. She attended Chatham County School. She graduated from Horton High School. She worked numerous jobs, which include Webster Poultry Plant, Plywood Plant, Dunn Cotton Mill, Allied Fiber, Sanford Housing Authority and Budget Inn. She participated in the PACE program, Pittsboro, NC.

She enjoyed having lot of fun with the family. Her hobbies were playing cards, dancing, bowling, going out to eat and she loved the beach. She cherished the July Family Cook-out which honored her mother's birthday.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John David Trapp; father and mother,  Willie and Clara Wilson; three sisters: Thelma, Janet and Bertha; three brothers: Jerry, Clyde and Larry; several aunts and uncles.

She leaves to cherish her memories three sons: Darryl Trapp of the home, Walter Trapp (Yolanda) of Moncure, NC, and Jeremy Trapp of the home. Seven grandchildren: De'Angelo, O'Brian, Justin, Ryan (Erica), Preosha, Kristin and Iesha (who acted as a caretaker); eleven great grandchildren, one very special brother who helped took care of her, Johnny Wilson of the home. Special cousin Lisa Douglas who also acted as her caretaker. Two special friends: Mrs. Judy Alston and Ms. Delane Seymore ; an adopted granddaughter, Charity Alston, and longtime friend Jerry Ledbetter. One Aunt, Nora Smith of Moncure, NC. She has six sister-n-laws and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
