NeChol Rashawn Clark

NeChol Rashawn Clark, of Charlotte, North Carolina transitioned into eternal rest on Monday, January 23, 2023, at the age of 43.

“Niki”, as she was affectionately called, was born to Robin Clark on December 28, 1979, at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Paterson, New Jersey. She was the oldest of four siblings.

Niki received a majority of her education from the New Jersey School System and received her GED from Central Carolina Community College in Sanford, North Carolina.

Niki was a social butterfly. She could be in any room… in any setting… and her presence could be felt. She loved to have a good time and made it her mission that her loved ones had a good time when they were with her. Niki was a strong and beautiful person. She was loved, effortlessly illuminating lives with her sense of humor and caring nature. Niki was strong valued; If she believed it, she stood on it with the largest example being family. She took great pride in being a loving mother, daughter, big sister, aunt, niece, cousin, and all-around great friend.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Charlesena Clarke and Harold “Jimmy” Grey; stepfather, Richard Sanchez; aunts, Allesandra Mitchell, Marilyn Fletcher, Francesca Torres, and Rona Torres; uncle, Terrence Clark and a devoted cousin, Gregory “Bogey” Clark.

She leaves to cherish her memories: four children, Anthony Zorrilla of Perth Amboy, NJ, Yanae Zorrilla of Boston, MA, Angelo Goldston Jr., and Franklin Kenan Jr. of Charlotte, NC; mother, Robin Clark of Sanford, NC; siblings, Danielle Clark, Kenneth Clark and Richard Sanchez all of Sanford, NC and Rosa Sanchez of Manhattan, NY; four nieces, Azaria, Addisyn, and Autumn of Sanford, NC and Serenity of Southern Pines, NC; a special niece, Samara of Charlotte, NC; uncle, Gregory Clark of Madison, WI; a devoted cousin, Allesandra “Miki” Spangrud of Lakewood, WA; an extended family, Omari Johnson, Cortlandt Watkins, and Aarion (Jonaira) Watkins all of Charlotte, NC and a host of families, friends, and loved ones who will miss her greatly.
