Michael Tyrone Hooker

Mr. Michael Tyrone Hooker, 72, of Sanford. NC entered into eternal life on Tuesday, January 9, 2024.

Michael Hooker (Hollywood) was born on February 28, 1951, in Sanford, NC to the late Mary Owens Hooker and Walter (Bob) Hooker.

“Hollywood” loved his family and friends very much. He loved to sing, dance, joke, and make his loved ones laugh.

Michael was the “fix it man” he could fix anything, cars, bikes, and appliances.

He was preceded in death by his son, Jermandy "PacMan" Judd.

He leaves to cherish the love of his life, Barbara "Shay" Judd; one daughter, Renea Hancock (John) of Sanford, NC; one son, Michael Quick (Marie) of Lillington, NC; grandchildren, Breana Quick, Makel Quick (Kim), Norrice Judd, Destiny Bennett, and Jayceon Hancock all of Sanford, NC; one sister, Marilyn Jefferies (Franklin) of Columbia, SC; three brothers, Walter Hooker, Herbert Hooker (Donna), Frederick Hooker (Lynn) all of Sanford, NC; seven great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
