Matthew Robert Thomas, age 20 of 470 Peele Lane, Sanford, NC entered into eternal rest of Saturday, July 25, 2020.

Matthew was born on Feb 4, 2000 in Walnut Creek, California. He graduated from Topsail High School in 2018. Matthew knew no fear and lived life to the fullest. Matthew made friends from all walks of life. He had a kind heart that touched many lives. He could be found fishing, camping, motocross riding, BMX riding or hanging out with friends and family.

Survived by his parents, Todd Thomas and Wendy Thomas of Sanford North Carolina; maternal grandparents, Don and Sharon Beckham of Apex, North Carolina; paternal grandparents, Clyde and Nancy Thomas of Apex, North Carolina; siblings, Katie Thomas, Aaron Thomas and Emily Thomas; loving girlfriend, Miranda Monaco and a host of aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends. Matthew had a zest for life and will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Matthew’s celebration of life will be on Thursday July 30th.

Family visitation is from 12:00-1:00 and the service is at 1:00pm.
