Mrs. Mary Jane Morrison Fox, age 72 of Sanford, NC transitioned from this life into eternal rest on April 20, 2022 at her home.
Mary was born October 18, 1949, in Moore County to the late Walter G. Morrison and Nancy L. Morrison.
Mary attended Pinckney High School in Carthage, NC prior to starting her career at the Enrichment Center as an in home aid for many years until she retired. Mary is remembered by her one-of-a-kind phrases, her love for family and stern but giving spirit.
Mary attended McQueen Chapel United Methodist Church in Lemon Springs, NC.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Nancy Morrison; sister Levada Morrison; and two sons, Jamie Devon Fox and Anthony Jabbar Fox.
Mary married her faithful, loving, and devoted husband, Ervin J. Fox on November 26, 1969.
To cherish her love and honored legacy, she leaves to mourn her four surviving children: Cynthia Fox Everett, Ervin L. Fox (Yolanda), Robert B. Fox Sr., and Angela J. Fox; her siblings: Alice "Pearl" Boatwright, Glenn Michael Morrison, Sharon Johnson, and Barbara Ann Morrison; twenty-six grandchildren: Christian, Ashley, Khemise, Kent Jr. (Caren), Kapreshia (Aaron), Dena, Dana (Sergio), Ebony (Ray), Robin, Tamia, Robert Jr. "Budda," Robert III "Runt," Jamie, Falosade, Josiah, Jontrell, Lauren (Rondel), Anthony Jr. (Nikki), Knowledge, Mecca, Jasmine G., Jamie Jr., Jamey, Darius, Jasmine, and Kiante; thirty-seven great-grandchildren; three bonus sons: Kent Everett Sr., Michael Rogers, and Clarence Battle; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and family she fostered.
