Martin Jaroszewski Obituary

Mr. Martin M. Jaroszewski passed away peacefully on September 13, 2022, in Chapel Hill, NC, and went to his heavenly home to receive His Angel Wings.

Martin worked for the Governor's Club for over 15 years. He was a hardworking and admirable man. He was a kind and loving spouse to his wife, could not ask for a better husband, best friend, and gentleman. Martin had a special love for his grandparents, Dr. and Mrs. Sam Herscovich (deceased) because they were so instrumental in helping him weave through the challenges of having Tourettes and they did it in such a loving way. He in turn would do anything to fulfill the love he gave to anyone. He was so talented, he was bi-lingual, loved to play piano, guitar, word games, golf and watch his UNC Tar Heels games. Although Martin lived with some extra challenges nothing was going to stop him from succeeding in his endeavors. He had the biggest heart and a gentle soul.

Martin was born in 1965 in Manhattan and raised in Brooklyn, NY.

He was the only son of Silvia (formerly Jaroszewski) Benhenda and Andrew Jaroszewski (deceased).

Martin is survived by his wife, De Bora Jaroszewski; his mother, Silvia Jaroszewski Benhenda; his siblings, Mary, Sophia, Christine, Irena, and Gabriella "Gabi" Jaroszewski; four children (from a previous marriage), Martin M. Jr., Samantha, Zachary, and Serena Jaroszewski; his grandchild, Milo Mendivil; great-grandchildren; his aunt and uncle Lia and Marcelo P. Rueda; as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins, great nieces and nephews, many friends and extra special pair in Bob and Sue.
