Mr. Marshall Freeman, age 78 passed on Sunday, November, 24, 2019 at Central Carolina Hospital.
Marshall Freeman Jr. was born in Coosa County, Alabama to the late Marshall and Wilma Lee Spivey Freeman on November 21, 1941. At an early age, he confessed his life to Christ and attended Macedonia Baptist church in Goodwater Alabama. He was united in Holy Matrimony to the late Mrs. Shirley Ann Freeman in 1973.
Marshall Freeman was granted his wings on November 24, 2019 At Central Carolina Hospital.
He attended J.D. Thompson High School at Cottage Grove Alabama, Class of 1961. All throughout High School Marshall sung in a gospel group called the Gospellers of Goodwater Alabama they would sing at churches and different events.
Marshall was employed at Bureau of Mines of South Park Pennsylvania in the maintenance site service department for 15 years. He worked as a truck driver for Mayflower trucking company and retired in 2006.
Marshall known as "Bubba", and "The General", loved watching Football, cooking on the Grill and Listening to Jazz and Blues Music.
Marshall was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Ann Freeman; his parents, Marshall Freeman and Wilma Freeman; and one sister, Freddie B. Armour-Clark.
He leaves to cherish his beautiful memories: three sons, Farrell Freeman of Indianapolis, Indiana, Tyrone (Tiffany) Freeman of Texas, and Marshall Lance Freeman of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; two daughters, Lois Dianne Raines of Sanford, North Carolina, and Shantae Reena Freeman of Sanford, North Carolina; twelve grandchildren, one great grandchild; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and special friends.
