Mrs. Marlene Evadney McIntyre, age 57 of Sanford NC transitioned into eternal rest on Tuesday, January 18, 2022, at UNC Hospitals in Chapel Hill, NC.
Marlene Evadney Corbin McIntyre was born February 7, 1964, in Barbados to her earthly parents Eustace and Cerlene Corbin. On January 18, 2022, Marlene answered the Master’s call and reunited with her heavenly Father.
Marlene came to the United States in 1989. She received her education from Deacon’s Primary School and Parkinson’s Secondary School in Barbados. She worked at Lisner Home in Washington DC for 19 years before moving to North Carolina.
Marlene married Anthony McIntyre in December 2016, and they both attended Mt. Nebo FWB, in Lemon Springs under the leadership of Pastor Jamlain Johnson. Marlene was God’s representation of Ruth from the Old Testament. She was fun loving, strong willed, family oriented, loyal and faithful, steadfast on the Lord, and an awesome helpmate to her husband.
Marlene is preceded in death by her parents, Eustace and Cerlene Corbin.
She leaves to cherish her memories and legacy her loving husband of 5 years, Anthony McIntyre of the home; her son, Marquise Smith Corbin of Sanford, NC; her siblings, William Norville and family of Sumerset NJ; Florence Norville and family, Marselles Seally and family, Wingay Corbin, Nolan Corbin, Phillip Corbin and family, and Kimberly Corbin and family all of Barbados.
