Ms. Margie Womack of 919 Wilkins Drive, Sanford, NC passed on Saturday, November 9, 2019 at Central Carolina Hospital, Sanford, NC

Margie Womack was born August 3, 1922 in Sanford, NC to the late Lula Womack Allen. She transitioned into eternal rest on November 9, 2019.

Margie was a devoted and loving mother and grandmother. She loved to cook and would often spend hours preparing dishes for family and friends whom she knew were coming to visit. She could cook anything that anyone requested from squirrel to black walnut cake and everything in between. If it was edible, she could cook it. Everything was always homemade and included her secret ingredient, LOVE.

Margie loved to be independent and even when her health began to decline, she didn’t want to accept much help. If someone offered, she would simply say “just tell Tameika, she will do it.”

She was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Belinda Womack.

She leaves to cherish her loving memories one son, Harold Womack of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; two granddaughters, Tameika Prince (James) whom she raised as her own and De’Andria Womack; one grandson, Taivon Womack.
