Malaki Shy Maliek Harris

Malaki Shy Maliek Harris, age 18 of 1415 Walnut Street, Greensboro, NC transitioned into eternal rest on Saturday, February 29, 2020 in Greensboro, NC.   

Malaki was a very determined and some would say a stubborn young man. This was shown first in his birth taking three days for him to arrive. He was gifted with muscles that he later used in developing his love for working out, lifting weights and wrestling.  He was very playful, and he especially loved children.  He loved to eat, so it was no great surprise that he enjoyed cooking as well. Malaki was kindhearted and loved his family and would do anything for them.  He would give out warm hugs and kisses on the cheek and he had a smile that would light up a room.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Vernell Bernard Harris and Pamela Wimbley Spruill.

Malaki was the oldest of four born on August 29, 2001 to Bernard Harris and Hattie Love.

In addition to his parents, he leaves to cherish his memories two brothers, Micah Harris, Messiah Harris and one sister, Makiya Harris; grandparents, Mary Patterson, Willie Spruill and great grandmother, Fannie Cornelia Harris. A host of aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives and friends will all cherish his memory.
