Louis Nathaniel Layne, Jr.

Louis Nathaniel Layne, Jr. age 91 of Bear Creek, NC, passed away on Sunday, March 2, 2025.                                                                                 

Our beloved Louis Nathaniel Layne, Jr.  was born on January 18, 1934, to the late Louis and Nannie Layne. He has one daughter, Linda Layne- Dillard; and a Grandson Shawn Layne.

This Air Force veteran is survived by a host of cousins

Bro. Louis will be remembered for his love for music and singing. Not only did he regularly attend Union Grove in Bear Creek until the Covid shutdown, but he also had a residence in N.Y. where he also attended and sang in the choir at Mother A.M.E. Zion church.

Bro. Louis Layne was a quite principled man that loved and trusted God to take care of him. Through many days, bus trips to N.Y. and back to N.C. God did watch over him.
