Addye Lorrie Ramsey Bryson, 69, was born December 10, 1956, to the late Ernest and Salome Ramsey in Pittsboro, NC. Lorrie transitioned on July 12, 2026, at her home. She was also preceded in death by her nephew Tracy Alston.
Lorrie, as she was affectionately called, became a member of Mt. Sinai AME Church in Pittsboro, NC at an early age. She was a 1975 graduate of Jordan-Matthews High School in Siler City, NC. and was very active in the student council and band. Lorrie attended East Carolina University in Greenville, NC. She was employed with Atrium Health Carolinas Medical Center (formerly CMC) in Charlotte, NC and retired from CMC as a respiratory therapist.
To cherish her memories, Lorrie leaves her daughter, Marshelle Bryson Sanchez and husband, Max Sanchez of Concord, NC; sisters: Hellen Brooks and Ferne Alston both of Pittsboro, NC; Kathy Ramsey of Cary, NC; brother: Ernest “Butch” Ramsey of Pittsboro, NC; nieces: Joretta Alston of Pittsboro, NC, Tamie Ramsey of Raleigh, NC and Takaara Ramsey of Cary, NC; nephews: Bryan Ramsey of Pittsboro, NC; Ryan Ramsey and wife, Johanna all of Oak Island, NC and Ernest Tyrone Thompson of Virginia; great nieces: Noelle Ramsey of Oak Island, NC, Ariel Alston of Shelby, NC; great nephews: Eric Fonville, of Raleigh, NC and Tomoria Ramsey of Cary, NC, grandchildren: Sebastian Sanchez and Maria Sanchez both of Concord, NC, a host of other relatives and friends.
