Mom, what a hard pill to swallow but you made us “Smith Strong”. This day has come and we got each other to send you home.

Our love “Linda Jane Smith” a.k.a L.J. passed away peacefully in her home on April 11, 2026, at the age of 61. Linda was born on March 30, 1965, in Granville, N.C.

Linda was loved by everyone she knew and had a heart of gold. She loved her three angels dearly and had a special bond with each of them. Her grandkids lit up her heart, she would give
any and everything to them. To know Linda is to know the “true love” in life.

Linda is preceded in death by her late parents, Annice K. Smith and Willie H. Smith Sr; and two siblings, Willie G. Smith (Cookie) and Ted Smith.

She is survived by her children, Latisha (Tee) Smith (Greg Jackson), Yushevia (Pam) Smith, and Britiny (Boo) Smith; siblings, Christopher (Bebo) Smith (Tamika), Helen (Toot) Smith, Elean Smith, Willie H. Smith (Boo), and Thomas Smith, a special brother, Ernest Murchison (Jannie); grandchildren, Kristopher Marble, Gemarion Jackson, Damiyah Smith, Deandre Smith; a special bond between several God children and an everlasting love with Clyde Snipes and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
