Mr. Lee Majores Burns, age 53 of Sanford NC, transitioned into eternal rest on Tuesday, July 20, 2021, at his residence.

Mr. Lee Majores Burns born to Mrs. Pearley Burns Peter and the late James Junior Jackson was born May 13, 1968 in Sanford, NC departed this life on Tuesday July 20, 2021.

Lee was a quiet young man who was able to get alone with anyone he encountered. He enjoyed his private time and hanging out with his mom. He enjoyed going to the Bread of Life Ministries with his mom as well so enjoying the love and fellowship with Gods Anointed Sisters in Christ under the leadership of Alice Jean Gordon who he called a friend.

Lee was educated in the Lee County School System and later went into Job Corp where he received his high school diploma. He was a faithful worker of Pilgrim Pride till his failing health.

Lee was preceded in death by several family members. His father: Mr. James Junior Jackson, grandparents: Mrs. Carolina Burns and Mrs. Emma Jackson, Aunts: Mrs. Vera Mae Jackson Gill and Mrs. Bonnie Jean Jackson, Uncles: Mr. Willie Burns and Mr. Ronnie Jackson, and a brother Mr. Eric Jackson.

Lee leaves to cherish his memories: his mother: Mrs. Pearley Burns Peter of the home, three sisters: Mrs. Vonda Hollingsworth Graham (Henry) and Miss Valerie Miller of Sanford, NC and Rebecca Smith of Georgia; four aunts: Mrs. Mable Burns and Mrs. Jenny Pearl Jackson of New York, Mrs. Burnette (Edward) Sanders and Mrs. Margaret Ann Jackson of Sanford, NC., two uncles: Mr. Curtis Jackson and Mr. Donnie Jackson of Sanford, NC., four nieces: Miss Latisha Hollingsworth, Miss Va’Shari Miller, Miss Maikila Richmond and Miss Jazmine Richmond of Sanford, NC., one nephew: Mr. Jamaal Bagby of Sanford, NC and a special friend: Miss Gertrude Durham of Sanford, NC.
