Ms. Laura Mae (McKinney) Miller, age 76, of Pittsboro, North Carolina, entered eternal rest on Wednesday, August 6, 2025, at her residence.

Laura Mae Miller, 76, of Pittsboro, North Carolina, entered into eternal rest on August 6, 2025. She was born on May 18, 1949, to the late Albert McKinney and Ella Dease McKinney.

Laura was united in marriage to the late William L. Miller, and together they were blessed with two daughters, Ms. Lisa Miller and the late Monica Miller, and one son, William L. Miller, Jr.

She attended Horton High School in Pittsboro, NC, and later worked at the Cotton Mill in Pittsboro. Laura loved to have fun and loved people.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Ella McKinney; her husband, William L. Miller; her daughter, Monica Miller; her brothers, Porter McKinney and Larry McKinney; and her sisters, Aggie McKinney and Mary Ella McKinney.

Laura’s memory will be cherished by her daughter, Lisa Miller; her son, William L. Miller, Jr.; her sisters, Pauline Brooks, Juanita McKinney, and Linda McKinney; her grandchildren, Jerreal Burton and Donta Cobb; her great-grandson, Jacques Burton; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Though Laura has departed this life, her love, laughter, and kindness will forever live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
