Mr. Keith Burnette Armstrong, Sr., age 65, of Beaufort, NC transitioned into eternal rest on Saturday, March 25, 2023, at Carolina East Medical Center in New Bern, NC.

Keith Burnette Armstrong, Sr. is a father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle, and loyal friend to many. Keith was born on July 14, 1957, to Narlie Armstrong and Annie Mildred Armstrong in Asheboro, NC.

Keith lived in Connecticut for many years where he met his ex-wife and mother of his three children. He was a graduate of Central High School in 1976. While in Connecticut, Keith worked for Sikorsky Aircraft where he assisted in fabricating helicopter blades. In his spare time, he also coached Pee Wee baseball.

Keith had a love for cooking and also worked as a cook at the American Steak House restaurant in Bridgeport, CT. When he relocated back to Sanford, he continued this passion for cooking and worked as a cook at The Brickyard in Sanford, NC.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Narlie and Annie Armstrong; sister, Joyce (Nelson) McNeill; and special friend, Diane Williams.

Keith is survived by his ex-wife, Barbara A Malone of Magnolia, DE; son, Keith Armstrong Jr. of Bridgeport, CT; daughter, Kai (Tejah) Perry of Naugatuck CT; son, Jesse (Christie) Armstrong of Stratford, CT; siblings, Jerry Armstrong of Sanford, NC, Jamie (Flossie) Armstrong of Sanford, NC; grandchildren, Ashlea-Nicole Armstrong, Tyree Blackwell, Malik Armstrong, Marques Armstrong, Roger Johnson, Avani Armstrong, Justin Armstrong; great-grandchild, Jameson Blackwell all from Connecticut; aunts, Dorothy Worthy of Bridgeport CT, Alice (Frank) Matthews of Sanford, NC; nieces, Cheri (Jadaniel) Maclaughlin of Raleigh, NC, Asia Armstrong of Sanford, NC; nephew, Damien McNeill of Charlotte, NC, Jamie Armstrong Jr. of Sanford, NC, Jamiel Armstrong of Sanford, NC and a host of great nieces/nephews, relatives, and friends.
