Katina Annette Shaw

Ms. Katina Annette Shaw, age 45 of Sanford, NC transitioned to eternal rest Sunday, January 14, 2024, at Central Carolina Hospital in Sanford, NC. 

Katina was a very kindhearted, strong, caring, generous, religious, bold, and hilarious woman. She would always try to put a smile on other's faces. She never met a stranger and was loved by everyone that knew her. Katina was a hard-worker and worked at Central Carolina Hospital in the cafeteria for many years.

She is survived by her two children, Shaquana and Ardell, whom she loved very much.

Katina was preceded in death by her loving mother, Joyce Ann Shaw; two grandmothers, Annie Mae Shaw and Rosa Steadman.

Besides her children Katina is survived by her father, Otis Steadman; three grandchildren, Keyant’e, Kyleigh, and Kyrie; siblings, Robert Shaw, Jacqueline Shaw, Duriel Shaw (Maternal), Sandra Elliot (Corey), Bridgett Brown, Tisha Brown, Otis Steadman, Jr., Felicia McNeill, and Belinda Sims (Paternal); stepmother, Rosetta Steadman; special friend, James Griffin, and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
